I am Adna Osmancevic, and I currently work at Unum as an Associet Life Events Specalist. My fascination with databases began during high school in 2018, when I participated in the Step-Up Chattanooga program. This invaluable program provided mentorship and internships, helping me develop key skills such as resume building, self-introduction, and effective interview techniques. I was paired with Medi-tract, a company that introduced me to database management within their software systems. This experience ignited my passion for working with data; I found the technical aspects both straightforward and enjoyable. Although the internship was only for the summer, it inspired me to enroll in a coding class during the following school year. This is where I was first introduced to HTML and CSS. HTML quickly became my favorite language, and I enjoyed building websites from scratch—similar to this portfolio. Our class journeyed from the basics of coding with our first "Hello World" to developing fully functional websites with complex elements, sparking my interest in a career in coding.

Taking a look at Chattanooga's own database, I came accros the expense breakdown database. I wanted to gain a better understnading of where the projected and approved ammount of expenses were mainly invested in.
